Glass sketching.

-38 Celcius this morning so I decided to practise sketching glass from life.

This one is a glass lantern in charcoal on paper. I need a lot of practise to get used to using charcoal. I wind up with charcoal on my face, on my desk, and I try not to get it on the run. :(

I can't get the highlights white after the charcoal is on the paper. I think I need a different type of paper to use with charcoal.

I'll try graphite pencils next.

I had time to squeeze in a sketch of my wooden desk duck... I collect wooden ducks. :)
