Charcoal Portrait step 1

I have been working on my oil painting deadlines but the difference is hard to see. I'll just post the finished versions of those two.

Here is step 1 of my charcoal portrait for the Northern Ontario Artist Association.


It's a little blurry but not much to look at yet anyway. It is approximately 18 x 24" on 140 lb. Strathmore watercolour paper.
