Still, "Working the Flats"

I've been working on the water area. You can see at one point I needed to paint with the canvas sideways to avoid any drips in the wrong direction. I used a thinner to show the undercoating through the paint.

The next step is adding all the dark waves and then the detail on the fisherman and boat.

The sky will be my big undertaking. I'm still not sure how it will turn out. :( ??
