Jingle Bells

I have a thing for jingle bells. I have bags of them big and small that are so heavy I never know where to hang them at xmas. I'm also a lazy artist. I wanted something I could work on with my feet up today. (blushing)

I found this picture I started in watercolour and then put to the side because it wasn't working out. I grabbed my coloured pencils and sat down to work on it and I'm pleased with how it's going. :)

Step 3: Going darker on the ribbon and metal before adding highlights.


I forgot to take a picture of step 1 so I'll start the post with step 2.

My only problem is I'll have to dig out the jingle bells from the xmas decorations to finish this because I don't have the reference photo.
